7AM 7/25 - This weekend will be a scorcher across the area. High temperatures are expected to reach the 90s to 100s today, tomorrow, and Monday. Overnight lows will only be in the mid 60s to mid 70s.
Due to expected highs between 105 and 110 with overnight lows in the mid to upper 70s, northern Sioux and Dawes counties have been upgraded to an Extreme Heat Warning. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for remaining areas of the High Plains through Monday. Daily record highs will be in jeopardy both Saturday and Sunday! Fire danger will be elevated due to the high temperatures as well.
