Showers and thunderstorms will move quickly northeastward across northern and central New Mexico today and tonight. Some storms may turn severe by producing large hail and damaging winds. An isolated tornado or two will also be possible. There will also be a risk of flash flooding, especially where the ground is already saturated from heavy rain that fell Thursday.
