Smoke is expected to return to southern Wisconsin this afternoon. Higher concentrations of smoke are expected this evening and may linger into Sunday. The Wisconsin DNR is forecasting at least levels that are considered Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups for southern Wisconsin this evening. Those in sensitive groups, such as people with lung and heart disease, take more breaks and make outdoor activities shorter and less intense. Healthy people should consider limiting their time outdoors.
