Hot and humid conditions will continue today under a departing upper-level ridge. A disturbance could bring a few isolated showers and perhaps a thunderstorm, mainly in northeastern Kentucky. A cold front will then sweep through the region on Friday, bringing more widespread showers and thunderstorms.
